Discover Copenhagen Through Stories and Humor
Kay Xander Mellish
Booking a speaker for international business groups visiting Copenhagen?
Kay offers entertaining keynote speeches about Danish culture, society, and everyday life.
When your MICE guests visit Copenhagen, they see the castles, the canals, and the bicycles. But what about the people behind the scenery? As an American who has lived in Denmark for more than 20 years, I share the stories, traditions, and quirks that make Danish culture unique — and often surprising to outsiders.
My speeches are designed to entertain as well as inform. With humor, anecdotes, and real-life experiences, I explain the Danish approach to cooperation, social trust, and the famous “welfare state.” Guests leave laughing — and with a deeper understanding of how this small country became one of the world’s happiest.
Your international conference audience doesn’t need dry statistics or long lectures. They want a lively introduction to Denmark they’ll remember, full of stories about Danish daily life, cooperation, design, and traditions. I highlight what makes this country special: the trust and humor Danes use to keep life in balance.
Using a lively, humorous approach, Kay Xander Mellish has delivered more than a hundred keynote speeches since 2013, with a special focus on Danish working culture and doing business in Denmark.
You can also book Kay through her agency, Athenas, which cooperates with A-Speakers.
